NOT CONTENT TO leave the Oscars steal their glory, the Brit Awards announced their nominations today.

Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, FKA twigs and Calvin Harris all received multiple nominations, but there was also some Irish interest with Hozier picking up a nomination for Best International Male.

The Bray man will go up against John Legend, Pharrell, Jack White and Beck in the category. No pressure then.

This is just the latest in several major international awards Hozier has found himself in line for. He is also nominated for Song of the Year at the Grammy Awards.
